How to apply

If you would like your child to attend our Nursery school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.

Wanstead Church School is a Voluntary Aided school within the London Borough of Redbridge and the Diocese of Chelmsford.

We are a one-form entry Primary with a Nursery unit as part of the school.

The Nursery operates a morning and an afternoon session each day, both of which are 3 hours. There is provision for 24 children in each session.

Admission to the Nursery is made directly with the school. Places are available for children from the term after they turn 3 years old. In the event of over subscription, the published over subscription criteria are used to offer places and a waiting list made.

To apply for a place at the Nursery, complete the Application form and the supplementary Information form and return them to the main school office.

You can download the forms below or call into the school office to collect them.

We take applications for children after their 2nd birthday and will contact you in the term before they are due to start.

The over-subscription is only used if we have more applications than places available.
