It's good to be friends with you.

Heavenly Father

I give thanks for my friends

For connection and laughter,

For comfort and strength,

For encouragement and unity,

For forgiveness and grace,

For celebration and joy.

They are so many things to me,

Such a rich tapestry of blessings,

Woven through my life.

Thank you.

I come before you O Lord

As the sun rises may your hope rise up in me.

As the birds sing may your love flow out of me.

As the light floods into this new day,

May your joy shine through me.

I come before you, O Lord

And drink in this moment of peace,

That I may carry something of your hope, love and joy

Today in my heart.

Dear God,

Thank you for food and water.

Thank you for our homes that we live in,

and the safety of our houses.

Lord, we remember people who are homeless,

We remember people who are refugees and those seeking protection.

Even in this time of difficulty

let us have an open heart and a giving nature.

Help us to put aside the difficulties we face,

and for all of humankind to step forward as one planet,

to deal with global issues,

and to put an end to unnecessary suffering.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Heavenly Father,

whether they are finding it hard to keep a roof over their heads,

or having difficulty getting food.

Thank you for the charities and volunteers who are working hard to support those who find it difficult.

We pray for those who are ill and those who are caring for them.

We pray for those who are bereaved and those who are supporting them.

As I face a new day
Let me take your hope
Rising with the dawn.
As I face a new day
Let me feel your love
Dancing through the birdsong.
As I face a new day
Let me see your promises
Glittering through my day.
Lord, as I face a new day
I turn my face to yours
That I may taste, feel and see you today.

Lord of love and kindness,

We give thanks for all that you give to us.

Open our eyes to ways that we too can give to others,

with the kindness of the words that we speak,

and through support in the actions of our day.

Help us to be more like you in all we do.

Heavenly Father, blessed is your name,

We lift this day up to you,

Help us to act more in line with your heart,

Giving, caring and supporting others.

Help us to remain focused upon the truly valuable things in life,

family, friendships, relationships with each other.

May we build on our interactions with each other,

and seek a closer relationship with you.

For all these things, we lift them up to you Lord.

You created us in your image

and sent your Son to bring us life.

Help us to respect for all life,

and work together to combat global problems as one.

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Heavenly Father,

We give thanks for families,

for brothers and sisters,

for parents and extended members.

Lord in this time of not having direct contact

We give thanks for technology to hear their voices

Screen time to enable us to see their smiles.

We pray that as the Government leads us through a period of unlock

that people stay safe and well.

And lord we move closer to the time of Pentecost,

We pray for a renewing of your spirit.

Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
