Homework 

All homework will be given out on a Tuesday. The pupils will come in on a Tuesday morning and we will mark the maths homework then. We will also have spelling tests on a Tuesday afternoon, so please make sure you practice the spellings below. This page will update every Tuesday/Wednesday.

History:

This term, Year 6 is diving into an independent history project called "The History of Wanstead!" Most of the core work will happen during school hours in their physical project folders which will be handed out this week. We are providing a handy guidebook full of ideas, but pupils have total creative freedom to include whatever they like!

To support this at home, pupils can optionally add extra pages using these flexible choices:

• Practical Options: Outdoor weekend tasks like a High Street photography challenge, a Wanstead Park wildlife study, or finding local Blue Plaques.
• Research Options: Home-based tasks using the internet or library books. Children can choose to research absolutely anything they like about Wanstead's history, or use workbook prompts like the Wanstead Blitz or Victorian shopkeepers.

The final folders must be handed in by the last week of term for grading.

Please bring in your folder every Tuesday.
